There's always dwarf Alberta Spruce (zones 3-8) with its classic Cristmas tree shape - available virtually anywhere a plant is sold.

They can ultimately reach some size, but are going to take a lifetime to get there, growing maybe 2-4" a year.

There are miniatures and dwarves in many/most of the conifer varieties - a little regular maintenance and attention and you can pretty well keep them at what would be an optimal size.

If you are willing to give them annual trimming, thee are a number of plants that will work.

Broadleafed evergreens such as holly or yew work well in lower light. I tend to use Blue Princess Holly.

Dwarf alberta spruce and other needleleaf evergreens want a lot of sun light. My personal bias is against the alberta on a house corner because it tends to be too pyramidal which introduces two angled lines that look odd with the vertical line of the house corner.

One of the things that is often a problem with arborvitaes is that they tend to splay apart in heavey snows and lose their form.

Not a tree but a shrub...Manhattan Euonymous. Glossy leafed evergreen shrub that can be trained as a vine...or a combo of both shrub and tall vine. Very easy to prune as you wish...taller/wider/slimmer "etc".

I used one to hide our boxes and garbage cans next to our garage. Grew like a son of a gun! Happy in sun or part shade.

I know you asked for pyramidal but I actually think something like this would be more softening at a corner.
