Keeping my Lamb's Ears through Winter

My Lamb's Ears have been growing in a mint green enamel collander (strainer?!) with my Polka-Dot plant all summer. Obviously, this isn't a good place to keep either for the winter. Both ar periennials, even if the Polka-Dot needs to be brought in for the winter, or a new one starter through propagation.

What does the Lamb's Ears need to stay alive for next year? I have all size containers, up to 36" X 36" ones, but I know periennials need extra attention to survive winter in containers. What is the best way to replant Lamb's Ear to survive winter? Do I bring her in, in a bigger container, or transplant her into a bigger container with insulation around it?

Any help is appreciated. I've fallen in love with the Lamb's Ears.

Lynn
