I haven't bought too many this month but I went nuts in Feb and March. 14 new ones in Feb alone. But as far as April and May goes, I've been getting really into cacti and a few succulents. Rhipsalidopsis gaertneri (Easter Cactus) - From Wal-Mart in pretty bad condition, and it wasn't even marked down, but I felt so bad for it that I bought it anyways. It now looks great and won't stop growing! Not that I want it to stop. Dahlia (Stargazer) - Just a seed I planted...one of the few that actually has survived. Agave of some sort - Still haven't been able to get an ID on this one. Frustrating, but I'll forgive it 'cause it's a neat looking plant. Echinocereus enneacanthus - I call it my Killer Cactus. Hehe. Stetsonia coryne (Toothpick Cactus) - This one's a killer cactus too, but the name was taken by above cactus. Hildewinteria aureispina (Golden Rat Tail) - I saw a larger version of this plant that I really liked, but I love to buy small and watch them grow really big by my hand so I found just a little one. Aloe striata (Coral Aloe) - Everyone pray for me. I have no luck with aloes, but I thought it was so neat I had to have it, and like Crotons I thought that if I tried enough times I'd get the hang of them. Codiaeum variegatum (Mammy) - I was telling myself no more plants for a while, but this one was half price at Superstore. What can I say...the addiction kicked in. And citosa, I'm totally jealous of you. I want an Adenium obesum so bad. I looked on Ebay for some seeds and I found a ton, but I just don't trust anyone over the internet.

Hi isunshinei, I've since ID'ed all three. You've got the Perle and Pachyveria right. What you're calling 'Moonglow' is actually Pachyveria 'A Grim One', named after it's creator. Interesting fact about so-called 'Moonglow' is that it doesn't exist. It's this same cultivar, but someone started calling it 'Moonglow', and the erroneous name is being perpetuated on the Internet. I have a recent post about it in the Crassulacea Society forum. I was also corrected on the 'Moonglow' misnomer.

Hi Amazin , sorry I'm new at this web stuff ( mostly just a lurker) and couldn't find were I wrote to you the 1st time ... me feel so dumb with this puter stuff... but yes I have 9 begonias and 6 are from Logee's, some are named and other are ( pass a along's ) ..... Named ones= Begonia " Richardsiana" B." Snow Capped " B. "Tea Rose" B. "Hot Tamale" B. "Good and Plenty " B, "Tiny Gem " B. " Silver Queen " The Richardsiana has in pass week took a big flop , and so not sure whats up with it , taken it back into house , hope it was just heat stroking from 100 + daze we have been in for pass couple of weeks here in nastyville , so not sure about it. Two other's unknown named ones but pretty just the same and last one I think mite be B. " Sophia Cecile " not sure. I see you have " My Special Angel " have been looking at it in the catalogs . sorry I'm so long winded.... but sure there must be something in your long list that we can work with . P.s. I wont make it to any plant swap so..... not sure how we would do this if we've a mind to ???? But thanks for your time and effort if thats the only way .

Barb...both happy and sad....Happy he is moving forward with his life. Knowing he will go far as long as he stays focused on his studies, and learns to quit being so wasteful. Sad because he is moving on and we will be seeing very little of him in the next 4 years or so. We havent made any new life adventures yet. House needs some TLC. I suppose first we will get used to having a home with just us and the critters and go from there. Chell I used to be a dog and cat groomer. I loved it too. But my employer was a deedeedee. Never had the money to pay me each week and always "owed" me. And she never gave me my tips either.Then at the end of the year she reported more earnings for me than what I had really made.Fortunitly I kept records and proved my case and won, so make sure you don't let the same happen to you. I have kept my clippers, blades and accessories and still will do a neighbors dog or two once in awhile to keep my skills up.....but don't miss the hair stuck in places I did'nt know existed....lol.
