From a distance...

My garden looks really bad but it looks good up close when you are walking by it. It is about 60 feet long with widths of 6-10' wide (curvy) backing up to a wooded area with chain link fence behind it. Any suggestions on how to make it more appealing from say sitting on the deck which is about 50' feet or so away? The garden is only two seasons old so not very established. I have have cosmos, zinnias, daisies, heliopsis, lavender, beebalm, russian sage and black eyed susan. Are these just too little and that's what's causing it? Thanks. Any suggestions for a garden that is mostly viewed from a distance?
