Winter aconite supposed to be planted months ago

Hi,

I purchased some eranthis hyemalis (winter aconite) from Brent&Becky's 50% off sale even though it's supposed to be planted in early summer. Will it live if I plant it now?

Perhaps I could pot it up and keep it in my attic at 50-60 degrees for a month or so, to try to mimic the fall season, and then *attempt* to plant them outside in January.

Also, I purchased some Anemone coronaria, which is only hardy to zone 7 (I'm 6). Should I try them outside with several inches of mulch? Plant them deeply? Or maybe just pot them up and put them in the attic to cool since they won't survive?

Thanks!
