3 Annuals I never heard of

I've been dong a little shopping and I came up with these annuals I've never heard of. I'm wondering if anybody knows if they take an inordinately long time to germinate or flower or something? I guess I just wonder why I've never heard of them, seen them for sale, seen them growing, etc.

Has anybody grown them before, and if so would you give them thumbs up or thumbs down? The pimpernel looks like the kind of plant that would be all foliage with teeny-tiny flowers at the top.

The safflower looks like it could be a weed, but I thought the orange flower was sort of nice looking in a thistley-weedy kind of way.

The silene makes a good cutflower (according to the website) and I know I've never seen it at the florists or grocery cut flower department.

What gives on these three?
