I have seen these grown in Texas, Illinois, California, Michigan and Pennsylvania, and they have always looked great. What kind of soil do you have them planted in? "Consumer Care SunPatiens do best in raised beds where the soil is well aerated and rich in organic matter. Incorporate slow release fertilizer prior to planting and water sufficiently to establish the bed. Once established, SunPatiens are fairly drought tolerant. In heavier soils, consider using Vigorous types as they are better at tolerating less than ideal conditions. SunPatiens tolerate lower soil temperatures (55�F/13C) and can be planted earlier than many other heat-loving annuals, like vinca. This is a key advantage for landscapers who need plants to perform and look good over a long growing season.

And would you suggest an inside mount or outside mount? @tangerinedoor ... where do I find those kind of canopies that work with your phone? Do you know if they have remote control shades that work with a phone? @ Patricia Colwell Consulting ... What do you mean by "snap into place." So, they would always be on the window? I love @ratherbeatthebeach suggestion to move the white shelves under the TV and put the rattan bookcase where the white shelves are now. I was thinking the same thing. If it were me, I'd find another home for the filing cabinet thing in the sunroom and go for low furniture that doesn't block the windows. I would definitely put at least one or maybe two chairs in the sunroom with a side table for coffee / tea / whatever beverage. I love @lisedv Ikea rattan chair suggestion. And then I love @lisedv mockups with lining the room with plants using plant stands and pots on the floor. Alternatively you could put a low bench or two under a window to use as a plant stand. What a pretty space you'll have. I love your rug and sofa combination.
