The organization of such large numbers of seed exchanges is extraordinary. Canada has a very active seed saving network; correct me if I'm wrong, Annette, but I believe that is due in large part to Seeds of Diversity, and their approach to member involvement. SSE has a good model to emulate... wish they would encourage similar local exchanges in the U.S.

Zeedman, I went to my first seedy sunday last march in search of (what else) an elusive little bean I had been looking for :). It was a very pleasurable experience, met some wonderful enthusiastic seed savers, the workshops were great, never say you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Seeds of Diversity is a great organization, I'm very proud to say I'm now a member. I hope to pass on a few of the heirloom beans I've acquired in the last couple of years at our next Seedy Sunday in hopes others will grow, enjoy and hopefully share with others.

Seeds of Diversity truly is a great organization. I've been a member for over 20 years and devote up 100 hours of volunteer time to it each year.

I will have a table representing SoDC at both the Victoria and Cobble Hill events so I hope that any of you that live on Vancouver Island will come up and say 'hi' if you can get to these. My display also travels to Salt Spring Island's and Duncan's events although I do not attend myself. (Can't get to them all!)

I'm so glad you are a member now Annette! Thanks again for the bean seeds last year.
