Help.. Spots on leaves and pepper plant dying?

Ok, so I haven't looked at the garden in only 3 days and this is what has happened. Everything was fine before and I have an automatic watering system.

My Squash and Melon plants have white spots on leaves. I think it is powdry mildew, but would like your opinions.

Also, one of my bell pepper plants looks pretty bad. Do you know why? And my other bell pepper is starting to look bad. Is it underwatering? I was thinking with the powdry mildew on some that maybe it is something else.

Everything else in the garden is doing great.. Please see the photo slideshow. Thanks so much for any help.

That is powdery mildew on your squash plants. If the soil is bone dry while the pepper plant is wilting yes it is under-watering. But the same wilting affect can be the result of other problems including over-watering.

Why??? It looks great besides the black. Just clip those leaves and see if new growth develops it. Might be a lack of a particular nutrient, but whenever that's the case, it usually affects all foliage. If you don't get an answer in this forum in the next couple days, try the Garden Clinic forum. The tomatoes drying up and dieing sounds like wilt, and this has been a bad year for it here on Long Island. Too much rain/moisture makes it worse, and the black spotting on your peppers sounds like a bacteria, which also is helped by too much moisture. Nsxt year, you might want to plant wilt resistant varieties, rotate your planting, and use a thick organic mulch to regulate the moisture and prevent weeds. Blessings, Ron http://www.TheGardenGuy.org

Are they near the house where a reflection could hit the leaves and magnify a burning sun ray? I would maybe keep them in the shade but introduce them to sun little by little.
