planted species tulips last year...should i replant new ones?

last year, I planted Tulipa praestans fusilier. Essentially all of them bloomed.

I let the foliage die off. I did pull the foliage out on some of them while weeding.

Since they are a species tulip, should I get new ones this year? Or should I expect a return of flowers next year just like this year's??
