preparing for a fun community flower competition

I am entering a few of my flowers into our local, fun community flower competition and want my flowers to look great for it! My flowers are growing, but I would like to 'time' them, by trimming, deadheading, etc., so they are looking their fullest/best for the competition that is coming up in two weeks.

Any help or suggestions that you could give me for any listed below will be greatly appreciated!

Should I trim them back, should I deadhead, when should I do this, how much should I cut back, should I put them in a special solution for the competition, other helpful tips, etc. Also, I cut my flowers the day before the competition, should I cut the flower fully open or a bit closed.

Here are some of the flowers that are looking OK/good today, but what should I do so they look their best in two weeks?
