New here, learning to grow on balcony

Just found this forum today and decided to sign up & say Hi. After 22 years of living in houses with yards, I got divorced & moved into an apartment. Getting into my plants again, after the "X" killed them has been therapeutic. I have a tiny, south-facing balcony on the second floor. So far I have mostly houseplants, but am sprouting some seeds to grow rosemary & habanero peppers. Don't know if they'll grow, but I love to experiment. Have to stick to small planters due to the size of my balcony. Funny thing, I started the growing after I found potatoes sprouted in the pantry & decided to plant them to get a nice plant. Imagine my surprise when I got potatoes!

Would love to hear from other balcony growers, esp. in Zone 9, Central Florida.

Posting from the library, so I can only get on every few days. Looking forward to hearing from all. ~XO~
