Zinnia's from seed - how long till they can be cut?

I'm trying to plan this out and can't find a direct answer to this question for classic white zinnia's.

I purchased classic white zinnia seeds and need to have them ready for cutting the 1st week of June. How long will they take to grow? Should I start them inside to avoid any late frosts? Or will they grow fast enough to wait a few weeks and plant start them outside?

I realize there are a million possibilities depending on heat, sun, zone, etc...but I'm looking for some good general guidelines. As a side note(and the real reason for this post) I bought some other giant varieties zinnias for the heck of it and they're already sprouting inside after just 4 days!

Thanks!

mike
