Need some advice... I am new.

Hello Everyone,

I also posted this on Container Gardening forum as well.

I am new to this forum. I was wonderig if someone could give me advice on how to prevent my wild 3 year old son from knocking off my containers plants. I want to have plants outside but I am limited as to placement.

I live in an apt on the ground floor and basically have one wall that is brick. (I can hang wall baskets) I have no overhang, so I can't really have hanging plants. I am limited to placing them on top of a 2.5 foot wall which my son can reach and promptly knock over! I have lost a lot of plants!

I have been using plastic containers 4-6-inch size because if he knocks them down they won't break. But they seem to be just too light. Would using larger pots help?

Help! Any advice or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

I should mention that my patio receives full sun.

Thanks, kpgardener
