Looking for a Z8 TX shade low-wtr plant
Comments (2)Sweet Box works well in dry shade, but should be monitored the first year with somewhat regular watering. Also,Corsican Hellebore does pretty good.Ajuga is a nice plant, but stays rather low.A lot of the Spurges(Euphorbia) do well in dry shade. They are tough plants and are rewarding. And Geranium 'Phaeum' can't be beat for it's dark purple flowers.Mix a few of these and people will think it is like any other area in the yard....See MoreLordy! Comments (10)There is one way to kill that plant. Get yourself a gallon zip-lock bag. Make sure you are well protected before stuffing it into the bag. Then add stump killer and make sure it can drink the stump killer. As long as it has the liquid to drink it should drink until it dies all the way back. It does need to be killed now before it takes over your fence. Take care in disposing the plant as all parts are poison. Round up will kill it back but will do nothing to the roots. Digging up the compete plant will slow it down but unless you get all of the roots it will come back....See MoreLordy! A Year In the Making But Mr. Sea Is Done!!
Comments (23)I haven't popped in on this forum but once or twice in that year, so your timing worked great for me. LOL I loved him then and love him even more now. I think it is entirely fitting that you give him a stage and the wall will be so much fun too. Kudos!...See Morelordy an LG
Comments (12)I wondered if it was an industrial machine. Really, if it's just been sitting, be sure the motor and the thread pathways are clear and operable from the handwheel BEFORE you plug it in. You can really rip up the motor if something is blocked. If it has cams, you need to be sure those are disengaged before you turn it on. I can't tell from the picture, but that is definitely a seam guide and seam finishing stitches shown on the face plate. Maybe it's not that old. After it is serviced, you definitely have your quilting machine. This one is heavy enough that you should be able to power through the "straightaway."...See MoreUser
