Comments (3)I dislike orange/yellow and prefer cool tones or neutrals (kitchen counters are black with brown speckles). I was thinking of getting neutral couches (tan) and adding color with rugs and pillows and other decor. I’m avoiding gray as it seems it doesn’t go well with the lighter wood floor. I’d welcome any thoughts or ideas....See MoreLiving room decor dilemma
Comments (3)Try putting TV on angle in the right corner. Then put sofa on angle facing TV. The bag seat can fit under window. I would also consider moving the white table on other wall (where ironing board is now.). You need a cozy rug and a nice tall plant. Maybe some art. Not much wall space so art will have to be scaled properly. Nice space, but tricky to use with limited wall space....See Moreso lost on how to decorate my small living room please help
Comments (4)The first order of business is to figure out what your style is. Put in top search box: eclectic, rustic, transitional, etc. What colors do you like? Take your inspiration from a favorite piece of fabric or accessory. The wall looks olive green and the brick looks like a rust color. The horse pic just fades into the background. I really think you need something dramatic there. Either play up the olive green by putting a strong bright medium olive green in the picture, or play up the rust by putting a strong light to medium rust in the picture. The black and white of the table and the rug don't go with the rest of the room (black and white are cool colors and the other colors are warm). Another option is to get a pic that has both a bright olive green and a bright light rust....See MoreHelp with Arranging/Decorating Open yet small living and dining room
Comments (5)Where and how do you access the sofas? It looks like there is barely any room to walk around them to go sit down. And from where do you enter? Is that big round thing on the right supposed to be a hanging lamp from ceiling? If so, that space needs to be utilized. Or is it a round table?? Are those windows next to it? And the dark square shape in front of kitchen counter - is it a chair or... what? First, since your kitchen counter and wall to the patio are both angled, could you angle your loveseat and place it where the TV is now? Then, we'll just have to help you figure out where to put TV and big sofa, haha. You do have a bit too much furniture for this space, if the dimensions are scaled correctly. Can you sell the sofa and get a smaller one? These pieces look gigantic in that space. Photos of room would be helpful. I can see this image big and fine on my laptop, but room pics would help....See More- 10 days ago
