I myself appreciate the praise more when it comes from within the family - it is so easy for them to just overlook all the efforts put into making a pretty garden. Congrats on an observant hubby. It does sound pretty. I love caladiums and have used them extensively every year - I know I should dig them up and store them properly but I just treat them as annuals and get new everyyear. I do buy the bulbs from a mail order source and this year planted over 75 in various containers and places in the garden. They just really brighten up a dark corner and don't mind the heat at all as long as they get some water. We need to see pictures *hint - hint*....... Lynne

I'm so sorry. You've had one stunning blow right after another, & you must be reeling from it. I don't for one minute believe that these are "real" dreams (ie, dreams in which it's really your husband communicating). No way would he show up to torture you. I think they're just dreams in which your inner self is expressing the dismaying sense of loss & helplessness (if you'd known on November 4th, what could you have done? nothing). I'm with Marie: find someone & talk & talk & talk. Cry & holler & blubber if you want. I'm holding you in my thoughts & in my heart.

Wow, that was a *lot* of z-brick! We have that painted-white stuff as our kitchen backsplash, and it drives me crazy -- it's so hard to clean! I'm sure you're glad to be rid of it. Was it hard to remove? And...what happened to that door near the stove? Did you close up that wall and put a window in? What a great idea...gives you a ton of counterspace next to the stove. Great work! I love your orange canisters...for the longest time, I really wanted an orange teapot. Never got one...maybe some day!

Sounds to me like you have a handle on the situation as it is now. I personally would never have tried to discipline my steps, not my job.
