The curtains helped a lot with decreasing noise in our bedroom to a manageable level. (Our room is close to a busy road. The traffic noise and humming do not wake us up anymore.) Our quality of sleep got much better. Sunlight prevention (our bedroom faces south) is great. Made our room much warmer (in winter) since they provide considerable heat insulation. Most probably it will help with reducing air conditioning costs in summer given their sunlight prevention and heat insulation powers. The white curtains blended well with our soft white walls (because the curtains are a little bulky and large, darker colors could overwhelm your room especially if you have bigger or many windows. Definitely worth the investment. Would highly recommend it.
