The goal of every interior designer is to collaborate with clients to develop a vision of their ideal space, then make it happen. In this case, we were looking to create a sophisticated, elegant, comfortable mountain home with European-style flair that is functional and warm. Working with contractors, I developed architectural plans and specified all finishes, including color palette, tile, countertops, appliances, walls, lighting and plumbing.

The total remodel involved moving and taking down walls, installing a new kitchen, floors, windows, fireplace and remodeling the exterior deck. The result was a contemporary mountain home that is comfortable and sophisticated but not cliched.
