As an interior designer, I work with clients to create themes for each individual spaces - then develop a plan to get the job done. For this project, we were seeking a more contemporary look that involved remodeling. I generated spreadsheets for contractors and coordinated the construction.

In addition to selecting new furnishings, I also added new wallpaper and updated the overall color palette, using shades that allowed the home's modern artwork to stand out. Ebony stain was used for the wood floors, adding tile for accents. Rugs, some of which were custom-made and window treatments were carefully selected to match the decor. The result was an elegant and refreshing space with a completely different feel.
