This apartment is located in the same line as an apartment that we renovated in 2013 (see Upper West Side Residence). They were both in the same "estate" condition, and this owner wanted roughly the same layout we had designed for the previous renovation. This involved relocating the kitchen and opening it up to the family room, while dividing the large living room into an open, yet defined living and dining area. The original moldings were duplicated or re-interpreted to retain the pre-war beauty. The bathrooms are more modern in feeling and highlight some interesting materials selected by the owner.
