We built a raised formal pond with cotswold dry stone , hand carving a water spout out of a larger piece of stone. A lavender hedge was planted at the rear, with a small medlar tree. The mediterranean planting continued around the sides of the pond, with two 100 year old Olive trees, agapanthus, tall Italian Cypress trees and dry loving plants and shrubs.
