We often have clients ask if they should take down the wall between the kitchen and dining room.
In this case, it was far more effective to just widen the doorway! It still creates a terrific, wide open feeling, without the worry about the effect from the dining room, looking into the kitchen, because it will still feel separated. (and the clutter of the kitchen somewhat contained!)
