This California beach home is a blend of quite Caribbean styling, British colonial sensibilities and the newest technologies. So when it came to the kitchen remodel we knew what we had to accomplish. The homeowners are both cooks so it was paramount that we use the latest American-Made, innovative and professional appliances. The space is beautifully lit by LED task and ambient lighting throughout.

The kitchen has the classic working triangle with a 30” Built-In Refrigerator and 24” Built-In Freezer, a Gas Range and a handmade porcelain sink from Darwin England. We added a Double Oven with warming drawer and Built-In Microwave in the island to complete the space.
The Low Profile hood and Range is a feature in the large beautiful custom finished mahogany wood island which becomes a great place for entertaining while cooking.

More function is found in the bookcase cabinet with custom linen drawers and across the dining area is the lighted china cabinet with small appliance storage. Last but not least is the LED television/computer access monitor, which is so much a part of 21st life.

Stand out design elements are the used real brick walls, custom finished tin ceiling, Ralph Lauren solid brass and crystal chandelier and pendants, and white lacquer cabinetry. Together with the mahogany and flame-treated black granite counter-tops create a very dramatic space and sets the tone for the delicious food and wonderful memories to be made.
