Helping a Belmont, CA family renovate the upper and lower levels of their home is an ongoing process that started with the overhaul of their two fireplaces. Both were re-faced with a gorgeous modern staggered stone tile and the hearths were covered with a concrete overlay that gives the appearance of a solid concrete hearth. The upper level received a custom-built floating walnut mantel that was grain-matched to show off its natural beauty.
