Homes for a Lifetime LLC

Our new home is a high performance up to date energy star rated house with a HERS index of 8. The back of the house faces directly south with a solar array on the roof. There is no central heating system, the house is heated and cooled by 4 minisplits with a gas fireplace backup. We have been living in the house close to 2 months and have been very comfortable even in the coldest winter nights so far in NH. The house was built by a very experienced crew. The quality and craftsmanship of the construction is evident throughout every detail in the house. For example, as seen in the attached photo, the stair treads and landing were finished with the same wood flooring used throughout the house. The banister was custom made on site. Bruce periodically did a walk through with me to point out progress made per the design plan he had developed with us. He also would point out efficiency upgrades including the exact costs. In fact all the details of construction including all the custom choices available to us were clearly indicated in spreadsheet form with corresponding cost. Every question I had was answered accurately and completely. We are very happy with our custom made new house and highly recommend homes for a lifetime.

We have heard horror stories from others who have built homes. This is not the case with Bruce and Homes for a Lifetime. Bruce made the project entirely stress free. His work is impeccable and we would highly recommend him to anyone who is interested in building a home!
