inserting pictures in discussions

How do you insert pics from Houzz into a response in the Advice section? Everytime I use the ''embed'' link, I get a mini pic previewed, and then I get the credit tag line in the text, but no pic in the text. No problem uploading images on the tablet or computer. Just linking from Houzz.

I'm not a programmer, don't use CSS like I should, and run Linux so rarely use Dreamweaver but anyway... It looks to me like the image is defined in the CSS style sheet. They seem to assign it an ID of "splash" in the style sheet, and then use it in a "DIV" in the html document. That way you can use the banner in all your pages, and change them all by editing just one line in the style sheet. You need to upload your picture to a website like Photobucket or Flickr, and then from there you can usually get the HTML code to post the picture in the forum. Or if you can't get the HTML code, you can just post the link to the picture.

Yes, establish a free account with Photobucket. Then copy the HTML number and paste it into your message. You can then push PREVIEW MESSAGE to see if your picture came up ok. Let us know if you are having further trouble.

Hi Tricia - some people have images pasted in the body of their message, rather than an image link appended to the bottom. Do you know how that's done? The image link only allows you to post one image per thread. Cheers, GW

Nothing. I'm on an Android tablet at the moment but also use a Widows PC and have had the same issue.

Hi there,

If you copy and paste the url for a photo you find on Houzz, the image will appear automatically in your question or comment.

You will need to either be using the browser on your device or your desktop computer to grab the link. Hope that helps!

Still can't mmanage to do this. Should I be usigg the ''embed'' code? When I get the small pic preview, what should I do then?
