Good site for kids bedroom ideas!
Comments (3)Wow, that's awesome. I am at a total loss for nursery ideas but had been waiting a few more weeks to confirm that we are actually having a boy before posting about it to ask for ideas. I'll bookmark that one now though :). Thanks for posting it!...See MoreBedroom chair -- do you use yours?
Comments (30)I agree, a palm would probably look nice ... if someone else lived here! We aren't "plants" people. (I tend to kill them. Unintentionally, of course.) Plus, even if we were, that room is really pretty dark most of the time. I'd have to find a plant that prefers caves over light. And then it would get dusty, and then I would hate it, and then it would die. Bye-bye, plant. "Fake" would be even worse. DH would make fun of it incessently and it would get depressed and suicidal. Not the vibe I want in my MBR. :-) No, I think a chair or perhaps the leaning ladder is the way to go. But gk5040, you're right, there's not that much room so the chair has to be big enough but not too big. I remember long ago when my grandmother came to see my first apartment. She could not BELIEVE I didn't have a chair in my bedroom. "Where do you sit?" was her question. She could not fathom a bedroom without a chair. Maybe if it was on MY side I'd be inspired to actually go in there and sit. But there's not enough room over there for anything more than a dining room type chair. Must continue to haunt craigslist!...See MoreMomto4kids (Deb) your DD's bedrooms?
Comments (2)Hi! I heard there was a question for me here. Sure! Why don't you shoot me a quick email through GW and we can do the back & forth there?! In the meantime, I'll track down the info. I've got it somewhere! I'm pretty certain they're Duron colors....See MoreShared kids bedroom paint help
Comments (5)The turquoise looks great! When my three big kids were little they shared a big attic room. Dtr was six and chose pepto bismol pink walls with raspberry pink woodwork, white curtains on her two windows. Five yo son chose sky blue walls with Royal blue woodwork, and three yo son chose Kelly green woodwork with lighter green walls. Their three windows had green, blue and white striped curtains. Sounds chaotic, but it was adorable. Their friends all wanted multi-colored rooms. I guess what I'm saying is they can be individuals in a shared space. Choose your paint(s) wisely! *Sheesh...See MoreClarissa Alva
