Video on how fast purses get snatched at gas station
Comments (12)Aluminum foil doenst protect against skimming, skimming is a result of a cloned card reader taking that info and storing it, most of these happen when your card is out of site, as in a restuarant, gas station ect, usually by a legal employee who has your card. In fact the vast majority of small time scammed cards are brick and mortor businesses, not internet or data transfer sites.. THE only thing you would worry about in case of stolen over the air cards is with your "contactless" cards (you know the ones that you can "wave" at something to pay with) You can avoid getting these RFID chips competely, they are only abourt 3.5 % of the total amount of cards out there, dont bother with pass techonology, all of these machines have swipes on them. If your worried about that, call your card company and request if your card is a RFID card or a contactless one, you can cancel it. Shield, aluminum foil may or may not in fact protect you from scam readers. There are a few misconceptions about cards now, federal law limits your liablity to 50.00, most MAJOR card companies do not hold you responsible at all, the way businesses report this fraud against you has changed as well. If the charge happened over the phone and internet, you have no liablity at all. Unless they can prove that you knew about the charges and didnt contact them, if you do discover something, contact your card companies promptly. This was mostly based on the poor folks who went through the early days , who were held liable and had thier poor credit wrecked becuase of it. Its still wise to protect your cards as much as possible, but frankly, alot of people are more worried about things that will never happen "IE thier cards stolen over the internet somehow" then things that may happen, like some gas station shlep who just took your card #s and is going to have a good time tonight. Comments (1)I feel it depends on the type of games you play. If you like sports then go with the machine that has more sports games. We bought a sony playstation2 and also have the ps1, but I usually don't get to play it because they have more sports than arcade games. If you're into arcade games then ps1 or ps2 is not for you. Comments (6)It may not be an HR person pushing the games. It is entirely possible that some executive in the company heard about them and is telling HR that all the employees have to "play" the games. These "games" are apparently the latest buzzword, and execs get street cred when they can brag/boast they, too, are using the latest and greatest thing in their company. I don't work in HR, but my position requires me to work very closely with our HR department, and you would not believe some of the things the upper echelon has told them to do. Some of those things would have broken the law, and HR has had a hard time reining a few VPs in. What they get from these games is a bunch of statistics, which may be used to pinpoint employee weaknesses so they can get better training, or to pinpoint employee weaknesses so they can be let go, or which the execs can't interpret so it is all for nothing. One thing, though. I would never, ever, put company software on my phone. If the company wants me to use software that requires a touch screen, the company needs to provide the touch screen. Unless they want to pay for my phone and phone bill, my private phone remains private. Asking employees to put company-provided software on their personal devices crosses a line for me. First, it's a "game." Then it becomes requiring the employee to use their own device to do work. Not a good situation....See MoreDo your kids play video games, and if so---
Comments (8)Mine were where yours is at back in the day. The sticker shock was worse because I really did not believe my three would spend the time playing these games that the price warranted. I was correct. Ours was minimally used. My son chose ping pong, disc golf and learning to juggle over time "gaming". We chose gamebox--My students would say it was the wrong choice. My students who play, play NON STOP in their non school time. These games have become their lives. They play with never seen strangers alone in their rooms and tell us they were not alone. The games they play are "Call Of Duty" and all its versions --all violent and ugly. If I taught a parenting class and if I thought anyone would listen the #1 mistake parents make is buying into the video/social media device purchases. Technology is dumbing down, making social outcasts, ruining our kids. These Gamers will never be captains of industry!!!...See MoreUser
