PLEASE HELP ME COLOR COORDINATE A BEDROOM
Comments (63)I love the rug in there and how it ties in with the baskets, wall, etc., but if it were me I'd still exchange the bedding because it would drive me crazy to see the striped side when the bed is unmade (which it is 99% of the time in my son's room). With the bed made the navy works. I would also exchange the drapes for something lighter, but that's just personal preference; I love lighter window treatments! I'm boring and would probably do white, but think a pattern with coordinating colors could look great too. I love the baseball art in there; it's perfect!...See MoreNeed help choosing a wood floor for Master bedroom
Comments (0)We recently finished renovating our master bath. Now we are working on master bedroom. We painted the walls a soft grey. We are installing white wide shutters. We are looking at engineered wood 8" wide planks in a light wood color or a grayish color (light). Are wide planks the "it" thing now vs thin wood? Trying to decide if we should go with a grey wood floor or light wood color? The top photo is a sample we are considering. The second photo below is from our bedroom entering into our master bath. there are two sample floor pieces we are considering that are in the grey family. The flooring in the bedroom (porcelain tile) will be torn up- contractor installed the incorrect color- it was supposed to match the bathroom. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. we need to decide by this Wednesday....See MoreNeed help with colors for master bedroom/bath remodel
Comments (4)I think you're going to want to take your color cues from the finishes you choose for flooring, cabinets, etc., especially in the bathroom. Once you have those, start pulling paint swatches that coordinate and take you in the direction you want to go. I've seen some lovely and classic looking barn doors done, so I'm sure you can pull off the look. I have seen people caution against using them between bedroom and bath though, as you may have more light and noise leakage that you get with a traditional door....See Morewall color ideas needed for master bedroom, Please help
Comments (36)Ok more info. Go to your ideabooks. Click on one. In upper right corner it says “select” and there are 3 dots ... Click on those dots. A menu will display. Click on “Ideabook settings”. That should bring up screen where you can slide button over to make that ideabook “private”. Then click “done” in upper right corner and you should see lock on ideabook when next displayed. Try it. Let me know if it works for you. There might be other ways but this seemed to work....See Moreshel_oneill
