I don't know what Revere Pewter would look like with the browns you have, but I've seen pictures of it with walnut and calacatta marble and it look very nice. Buy a sample and paint a board with several coats and set it in the room to see if you like it. It is a Benjamin Moore color.

I wouldn't paint that brick. Lime wash is (mostly) for unfortunately colored brick. Yours already has a similar lime wash look and it has a really good colorway. Get a designer to suggest some new ideas for the trim/shutter/door color. Try taking off the shutters to see if that helps give an updated look/feel.

Do not paint brick. It is likely to cause damage to the brick over time, and painting has to be redone about every 10 years. Your brick is a nice neutral color. However, if you must color it, use a paint made for brick like this ONE with a 20 year warranty. Here are some of the colors offered by this company. I would get rid of the shutters. Your windows are too wide, so shutters don't make sense. Instead, paint the trim around them to make them pop. If you can replace the trim with wider trim all the better. You can also paint the fascia and the vertical corner trim to add contrast. You can paint the door black as well, or choose a separate stand out color for the front door. white is pretty stark against the dark trim,(although I would love it in a different application, too modern for your house) I doubt it will help llighten the room. If you love the Cork Wedge, why not just paint the wall with the windows and door Cork Wedge, and the rest a few shades lighter including the ceiling, actually, I see you have a wood ceiling, I'd just llighten up all the walls and get some light into the room. Keep the windows uncovered, if you can. I'm anxious to see what you do, Please post updates.
