If I leave the chicken house in winter with sixteen eggs, three of them dirty and no customers, I will heave three said eggs toward compost 20 feet away from plowed driveway. I always hope to shoot them through the mesh, but sometimes I get a high fly going on, and the egg lands somehow unscathed in the center of the pile. Now that I've experienced popping into a seventh month old egg, I'm more likely to specifically aim for the egg with my pitchfork during the next turning. Thanks for posting this and for the good comments. It seems that every time I turn around there is some new listeria or other pathogen involved recall. Why? Regarding the repackaged cheese: I am not supposed to partake of this stuff, but I do every now and then. Lately, my weakness is ”Green Peppercorn Brie” from Trader Joe. I am nearly addicted to it, and have added it to my ”About Willing to Die For” list: Delicious cheese Lobster with worthy (melted) butter Steamers (soft shell clams, (Mya arenaria) with quality melted butter Country Pâté, Prime Rib (good prime rib) Steak (good steak) Quiche (only good stuff) Other yummy things I rarely if ever consume — yummy egg salad sandwiches, potato chips, spare ribs, ice cream, pastas with creme ;-( ; __ Fish and chips, Oh, damn! I was born craving rich, salty, fatty, yummy food. No amount of King Oscar sardines and salmon fat can compensate. I LOVE cheeses. A chicken liver came with out lastest roaster. I would love to pan fry it in butter and EVOO. It is the fiduciary responsibility of managers and board members to look after the interests of the company and all the investors first. That is the standard in businesses with investors in this country. Pretty straight forward stuff and too many managers seem to think that cutting corners does just that. Also lying to the public as RJ Reynolds did for so many years as they killed millions of people with their product that they had ample evidence would do so. Opiods are another example. Millions dead and they knew it was maddly addictive. Oh well. I agree that this is all tiresome. You never know when you arent going to be allowed an opinion by Elmer. I do not question the verasity of Elmer but I do feel moved to occasionally point out that if I cant quote an internt source per Elmer then why does he get to. We would have precious few conversations if no one but Elmer was allowed to look things up for verification. I routinely do that just to be sure my memory is accurate, or not. People stop posting and I feel responsible but what would be the point if the only opinion was Elmers? I have an opinion as well. Elmer wants to tell me what sort of weather I am allowed to like. When do I get to stop being polite about it.
