should I include eggs (not egg shells)?

I know the benefit of egg SHELLS on the garden bed and I put them in compost. What is the opinion about the actual egg -either whites or yolk or both parts? Obviously, we are talking about un-cooked egg, although a boiled egg does not come in contact with any grease.

The reason I ask is, for example, if I bake or cook and open an egg and it falls on the floor or is bad/rotten, - why cant I use it all?

Also, I love boiled eggs, but sometime I overboil it and dont like the taste - so can I put that in compost?

Thanks
