A little blurry but this spider fit right in with some pumpkins outside for Halloween.

arcy, my Mom told me that back then, they went to a studio to have their wedding pics taken and they had these large (I presume fake) bouquets they'd hand to the ladies...they were not necessarily the ones used at the wedding. The bouquet in her wedding photo was not the one she carried.

Normally when asked this question I am all about the rich colors of Fall. After months of looking out my kitchen window and seeing nothing but dirt and or snow I am loving the abundance of summer. I am also having a blast watching the hollyhocks bloom for the first time. I collected the seeds from an abandoned lot so had no idea what would pop up. So fun to see all the beauty.

seagrass, I am so sorry for your loss. The new girl is beautiful and I hope it works out for you. Seems like a good situation for you. So this happened across the street last night. I had my windows open and didn't even hear anything. I had to laugh. I didn't even know kids did that anymore. My neighbor has a daughter in middle school so I think that is what it's about. I pictured the kids hearing from someone's grandpa that "Back in my day, we TP'd people's houses." My neighbor is a good guy and I know he will think this is pretty funny.
