Need 'Mango Docs' for Nam Doc Mai blooming again
Comments (7)pj1881: a little sprinkler water and no fertilizer. Only horse manure as mulch. Mangokush: I hadn't thought about scab, but I did wonder about spider mites. How do I find them and treat them? Just the outer edges of the tree are watered by my sprinkler. I thought it wasn't hitting the tree at all because I fixed the sprinklers last year to go up to, but not hit the tree. Well, I guess the tree has grown and is getting hit on that one side where the big fruit is. Only the very outer 6" of branch are getting hit right now. I know I need to get out there and work on the sprinklers again, but I didn't even know they were hitting until I started really examining the tree to take these pictures. My sprinklers run twice a week for 24 minutes. That's all its getting by way of water. I was wondering if putting manure on the tree while it's got young fruit would make them split. I may have done that. I'll hold off on all manure for now, and fertilizer I guess. I think I bought the tree at Home Depot and I think it had a Pine Island tag on it, but that was 5 years ago, so not sure. MangoDoc: wow, didn't think I'd actually get a mango doc with my post, but that's good! I haven't ever used sulfur because I like to use oil for insects and they can be a really bad combo. I think you are supposed to wait a month between sulfur and oil sprays. I'm trying to stay as close to organic as possible. I'll give the sulfur a shot next winter for sure, and I hadn't thought about checking the PH of my water....See MoreBloodwork indicates menopause, but...
Comments (6)Hi cheerful, I don't think we can count on everybody being the same at this time of their lives, or the labs meaning the same in everyone. You could be going through menopause, but because you might not have the right combo of estrogen and progesterone, your uterine lining might be too thick.......and not always sloughing completely. Are your periods still regular? I think you might have one level of FSH, and I might have an even lower one, but maybe I wouldn't have periods, and you would. I think everyone is soooo different in this respect. But, I'm glad they're going to check your uterine lining, in case it's too thick. I think it's common sometimes for women, during their passage through menopause, to get thick linings. If you constantly have a thick lining that doesn't slough completely.....you can develop cancer that way. So I'm glad you're going to have the ultrasound. Good luck! And I wouldn't worry about still having periods if your lining is within normal limits. If you were 60, I'd be more concerned. Let us know what they find....See MorePrometrium or switch Docs ?Please help me!!!
Comments (2)Dear Megs2, I am not a doctor but have been through so much with menopause too much to get into. If you read some other topics you will see my story. I just started with bio-identical hormone replacement pellets. You should look into it. Just google it and you will open yourself up to a new world. Just started 5 weeks ago and feel a difference already. Prior to beginning I was on estrogen patch for 2 years. I also take 100 mg of prometrium every night and still do even with pellets its important when you have all your parts. Hoe you will look into it and good luck. Let me know how you do. lostnj...See MoreMy doc appt yesterday and iron pill ?.....
