Comments (2)Thank you!! I am a Lowe's shopper so I just took the Home Depot ad to Lowe's and they matched the sale and I didn't have to choose from the picked over selection at Home Depot!...See MoreBuy one get one free trees! Home Depot
Comments (4)That was exactly the plan, Dan. I got there right after a huge shipment arrived so I had the pick of the lot, and I had a person there helping me choose. If I didn't see 2 things that matched my needs and looked healthy and happy I would have walked away. As it was, I got 2 healthy looking 7-8' trees for $19.50. :) I usually go to a garden center for plants/trees, but for the price I figured I could make an exception....See MoreOne standard pool light, one Intellibrite?
Comments (7)The pool was built last year, so I have the newer Intellitouch system. The light that is kaput is in the deep end of the pool, and the problem is the fixture, not the bulb. Do you think I will I still get good light effects with just the 1 Intellibrite in the deep end? I ask because I will be paying a bundle for this light. The pool service company that works for the pool builder is quoting me $1142.51 for the light with a 100 ft. cord, less the price of a standard light, $398.98, for a net price of $743.53. Since the failed light is under warranty, I will not be charged for labor. Price for the light is high as I see them offered on the internet for less than $600, inc. shipping. The service company will not install a light I purchase, though, so by the time I pay for installation I will be near their price. I also get a 3 year warranty with their light. Still kind of a rip-off, but I may do it anyway if the color will look nice. I have a white pebble tec pool....See MoreRoman shades- one big one or two small ones
Comments (36)Hello - nice to see your progress report! I agree that possibility of the fixed pattern (not a random pattern) not matching across the windows will be a problem. As I understand your description, the pattern is horizontal diamond shapes. If that’s correct, I agree it will be noticable if the diamond shapes don’t flow in a pretty straight line across both windows when shades are fully closed in down position. That would drive me crazy too & I'd be thinking about that issue every single time I looked at the shades! I also think 2 shades inside mount are a better option for these windows over the sink than a single outside mount shade. And, it sounds like your ability to reach a manual pull cord across the counter would be an issue & that's really a big deal too. Have you explored ability to order these shades, with this fabric, through a local Blinds comapny - one that has a store or comes to home to do measuring & bring samples? I don't know if that would add to cost but would certainly be worth it if they would guarantee a pattern match. On the one hand, it seems any blind company should be cutting length of fabric in logical place so the design showing on shades isn't cut off in odd spot - but, it's concerning that they won't guarantee that when ordering shades that will hang right next to each other. If thers's no other option to buy this pattern with a guarantee of match, maybe your only option is to continue your fabric search. Tough call, I know!...See More- last monthlast modified: last month
