Craftsman=cheap, low quality in recent years. Sounds like you made a quality repair.

Renee: Guess thats one way to look at it.The weather is co operating to keep me indoors so I can't work on the weeds,pulling them out.Course,I would be using my good hand to do it. I told her yes,I do hear you,and will not do some thing to break it again.She says she thinks I can go back to driving again,will be ok.Hehehe,I been driving if I need to go after some thing,she just didn't know it.Power stearing makes it very easy. I had lunch at Chilli's after my appointment and was so happy to eat with my right hand. Then I went to Kohl's and bought two pairs of shoes. Chilli's has a really good dessert menu called Sweet Shots. They are $1.99 and are served in small glasses. I had a brownie topped with chocolate sauce. It's just enough to trick you into thinking you ate dessert without completely blowing the diet.

Okay, I realize this post is months old, but, I have a similar problem! I have a brass chandy- thinking from Spain as well- heavy on the crystals, etc... Pretty much like the original poster's. I have a similar issue as well- except I bought mine for 5 bucks at an estate sale and it's been in storage for 2 years. Well, I'm not sure if it was broken in my storage or already broken when I bought it (doesn't matter) but one of the arms that holds crystals is broken. It is solid- doesn't have any electrical running through it... Just need to put it back together so I can reattach it and hang the crystals. How did it get fixed? I've looked on eBay for 3 weeks with no luck. I'm going to start hitting up Goodwill around here to see if they have a chandy that I can buy just for parts- I'm to the point if I can't repair the arm itself. Any help would be appreciated!
