Comments (26)I hate Blistex and Chapstick and Burt's Bees and every other lipbalm I've ever tried. The only thing that works for me is Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Lip Butter (Dark Chocolate & Peppermint flavor). It tastes great, looks amazing (people always think I'm wearing lipstick, even though it's clear), and works beautifully. If my lips are in the state you describe, all I have to do is put some on before bed, and when I wake up, my lips are perfectly moisturized. I love it to the point that I buy 10-15 of them when I see them; out here, very few stores have it, but I can sometimes find it at Walgreen's. In the Midwest, Meijer's usually has it. So does drugstore.com. See below. Good luck! Here is a link that might be useful: Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Lip Butter (Dark Chocolate & Peppermint flavor)...See MoreLip Balm Flavors
Comments (6)I was wondering the same thing. I want to make some lip balms, and I ordered two flavor oils. They are horrible. Smell great, but I tasted them (to see what they would taste like) and I nearly choked. They were awful. I wrote and asked and they said the smell "fools" you into thinking it has a flavor. I am not sure if I buy that. At any rate, I am not going to use them in my lip balms (if I ever get around to making them). I just can't bring myself to now that I know how awful and bitter they taste. I have purchased good tasting lip balm, and I am sure that my nose was not fooling me into thinking that it tasted good! Comments (20)If this is just for chapped lips, I love Blistex in the blue tube, plain jane. If it's for a gift, I'd go with something nicer such as the Burt's Bee and now most of the cosmetic's company have a balm such as Cover Girl and Maybelline. I once got a free gift from Sephora of the Fresh Sugar Lips and wasn't impressed for the high price it sells for but it was fine. Wet N Wild has a balm that I recently purchased at Dollar Tree that I found to be comfortable on my lips and it has a scent and flavor that was fine but I prefer unflavored for myself. My lips have a tendency to have an allergic reaction to balms but I was not allergic to the Wet N Wild or the Fresh balm! I cannot wear the ELF balm, it chaps them....See More- 13 days ago
