Laundered Lip Balm Stains - HELP!!!
Comments (7)Start off by using hair spray. Spray on both sides of the garment and blot with paper towel and change frequently. If that didn't work, use Zout, rub it in gently and rinse. If it still did not bulge after three treatments. Try using Tide with Bleach (Powder), two full scoops of Oxi-Clean and up to 1 cup of bleach if garment permits. Wait 5 minuets before adding bleach and use the warmest water according to MFG labels. And if you do not feel comfortable using last resort then you need to get a dry cleaning solution. Comments (2)I have some scuffs from the installer (he wouldn't rip out the boards and redo since he said he wouldn't have enough wood, even though I saw it during install, not after floor was totally done). Even have some pencil marks - the pencil apparently dented/scratched the finish where he had to mark for cuts for floor vents. Tried touching up with marker but wouldn't "take" - guess it's not entirely through the finish? Too shallow for crayons. I'm afraid of sanding since he didn't leave any scraps for me to practice on. They're prefinished Bellawood, with aluminum oxide finish. Any suggestions?...See MoreMy fave part of the wedding
Comments (13)Sable, what you said was so true-"this was her gift to England". What a beautiful sentiment. It is so sad to think of poor Diana's life and what could have been, but she certainly was a great Mum who loved her boys and raised them well. She would have been so proud. I heard an interview with her last night in some of the coverage I watched that made me so sad. She said that as she was walking down the aisle she was scanning the congregation for Camilla Parker Bowles! How tragic, it was almost like that poor girl was a sacrificial lamb. I hadn't realized she knew all along she was a wife in name only....See Morelip balm flavorings (follow up)
Comments (1)I have not tried the SoapCrafters flavor oils. I have tried the ones from the sage.com. Good results. Also, if one wants sweetened flavors, they sell one called Sugar Kisses. BTW, I suspect licking your lips too often is not good for them, but not because of digestive enzymes in saliva. The only digestive enzyme contained in saliva, digests starch....See More- 7 months ago
