The grands are thrilled with their first snowfall of the year.

We have fog and snow this morning - supposed to snow all day

Woke up to a much larger snowfall than predicted. Its very beautiful. My Ring camera was slowly buried.

the high today, a whopping 9*. it's going to be another do-nothing day at my house!

Our Miata club had it’s annual Christmas get together last night. In the past our hosts, who live in a historic district, have hosted us and our event coincides with a luminary display and tour of homes in another section of downtown Huntsville. We have always arrived early, decorated our cars and slowly paraded through the historic streets, downtown square, by our beloved Tinsel Trail and the luminaries. Some of us play music, wave and greet everyone, and just have a good time. Our route takes us about 30-40 minutes. Due to rain, we have not been able to do this for the past 4 or 5 years so we were thrilled to do it again. We return and share our meal. The Club provides ham, roast beef and turkey and we bring saladsa, sides and desserts).

The decorating begins. We had about 12 cars participate this year.

Tuesday 12/16 will be the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birth. This memorial is on the Poet's Wall in Westminster Abbey.

I had dinner with friends recently. One of my friends sews and has given us little things she has made from her stash of materials. This year she made each of us a pillow. I love mine. Those are red dog footprints on it in honor of my new girl. So cute.
