I really hate to complain, BUT...
Comments (3)Ya, I tried that, but I didn't get anywhere lol!! Maybe I didn't rub hard enough! I'm just too fickle I guess - I wanted asparagus, but now that I see how much space they're taking, I was kinda glad they didn't come up, so of course, now they're coming! I'm on a small, urban lot and my space, and especially sun space, is limited. I could grow a LOT of stuff in the area that asparagus is in now so I'm regretting my decision to plant it even tho I love asparagus! I should have given it more thought I guess, but that would have made sense and been the easy way to go and I never take the easy path to anything!! Lisa...See MoreI hate to say it but...
Comments (9)hEY, Mike, so glad to hear from you. It is great to share such a huge chuckle this morning. Many of us who have less dramatic a story to tell--we did not put them on the driveway to spend the winter--have some losses. It is just so sweet to hear this driveway success story. Ahhhhh, life is good. Cannot wait for Ken to get a look at your results. Good show!...See MoreI really hate to ask, but...
Comments (23)I should have a good supply of seeds to share. Tim, technically the FG is not a true Scorpion. They have the Scorpion flavour (flavor) profile but only clock in at around 450 - 550K SHU. The background, from my understanding is that fiedlermeister originally received seeds that were supposed to be regular red Scorpions. When he grew them out he was surprised with the result. He spread the received and saved seed around to see if others got the same resulting pepper. Turned out everyone did. His source, FG (person's initials), sent seeds save from a regular red T Scorpion he grew. Obviously, there was a cross. What makes this variety special to me (beside its uniform stinger pod characteristic) is that against all odds this cross proved to be stable from F1. That has to be a 1 in quadrillion cubed chance ;-)...See Moreravencajun...I hate to call you out...but
Comments (17)I would suggest Avast but what do I know since my ASUS PC now appears to be bricked due to this virus. I started full scans of my spyware/malware programs last night to try to identify and clean out this virus, which I also got in the course of a recipe search, apparently from the Food Network. Unfortunately my son got up this morning, saw my netbook sitting there with the clamshell up, thought I'd left it on by accident, and shut it down. Now it won't boot, not even in safe mode. I know the winlogon.exe file was corrupted and had scheduled a boot scan in Avast, but what it does now is cycle constantly between the blue screen with a message that flashes past far too quickly for me to read it, and the windows boot screen. It never comes up. Since it was shut down before I got up this morning, I also didn't get to write down my XP license number, so even though I have access to an external DVD and an XP installation disk, I DON'T have a valid license # to enter. I fear my netbook is bricked, all because of a recipe for apple streusel pie....See More- 10 months ago
