Hmm - my guess was also tight spots. I accept the given answer of ’hold tight’ but I think the answer of tight spots is so much more appropos - just saying - & not because it was my guess! I’m thrilled that my guess was the same as so many of you who are so good at this puzzle.

Honestly it bothered me that they looked like holes more than spots, but I didn’t put it together correctly.
