I think I'm gonna do it.... (I think I can... I think I can)
Comments (21)Glo - Thanks for reassuring me! I hope your move is awesome! My husband has wanted to move us to Colorado for years and hasn't managed to quite convince me yet, although I think it's absolutely wonderful there. LOL So, Winter Solstice is the same everywhere? (LOL)... I guess you're seeing how little I know... Nancy - Thanks for the tip! I am gonna have to watch the lead hand myself as I way oversowed my cantaloupes this fall. The poor babies are fighting each other and giving me 2 to 5 inches fruits that don't look like they're EVER going to full ripen. I will be much more careful in the future. I'll try to not get TOO excited when I go to plant. LOL Carrie - Wow! That's some really good info. That's exactly the kind of thing I was worried about. I'm grateful for the heads up. Liz - LIZ!!! Hey, girl! Fancy meeting you here and there and now here! hee hee... The whole last paragraph of what you wrote is exactly what is concerning me. I know that I personally wear shorts through-out almost the whole winter except for those few crazy days that we see. 50's or what have you is not cold to me... We do get the occasional freeze, but then a week or two later at most you could have a 70+ degree high! All this in the same few days / weeks / months... it's SO crazy! Oh, and if they're having a plantswap around the 8th of December as well, I sure want to know as I'll be out that way. :-) Blessings, Angela...See MoreI think I was scammed and I believed it.

Comments (56)Sounds wonderful! I'm glad you enjoyed your dinner party. See, if your ever worried about a dinner party again, just put those chocolatinis on the menu! I should have mentioned martinis when you were worried. A friend of mine was having a dinner party and made a big batch of appletinis to go with the appetizers. They were such a hit she made a couple more batches. At 9:00 she realized that she had never started dinner, and wasn't actually sure she was capable of cooking at that point, so she made more appletinis and had her husband call for pizza. All the guests spent the night sleeping on various chairs, couches or the floor. They thought is was they best party ever....See MoreHELP- I Think I have been scammed!
Comments (33)shee- no I have never used Paypal. I've never shopped on Ebay either. I have seen some great things that friends and family have purchased on Ebay. Does Ebay accept any form of payment other than Paypal? I personally like a more straight forward shopping experience. From what I've heard about Ebay, sounds as though there is bidding process? Is that the case with everything on Ebay or only certain items? I love to negotiate when I have my eye on something in an antique shop, estate sale, etc. While I enjoy the negotiating IRL, I don't know that I would do very well doing so online. I experienced identity theft at holiday time a couple of years ago. That was a total nightmare for me as I felt violated that someone had access to my social security number and other personal information. I use my credit card for online purchases. The bank that issued my card is extremely vigilent and actually stopped the use of my credit card on the first purchase attempt by whomever it was that hijacked my info. I never use my debit card for online purchases. Perhaps it is not as big of a risk as I envision, but I don't want to go through the whole identity theft horror again....See More- 6 months ago
