Comments (30)I assume posting mastectomy scars would get me banned, so here is a photo showing part of the post-mastectomy breast (boob, if you will) reconstruction process. These syringes of saline were pumped into the tissue expanders that stretched muscle and skin to make a "pocket" of space for a prosthetic implant. Comments (16)It's been over 3 months since I lost Carmelita. I met this girl yesterday. She is a 6 year old Toy Poodle mix named Lacey. Her person had to go into a nursing home and she needs a new home so she is going to come home with me this Saturday. I think we are a good match. This photo was taken by the rescue. She's currently in a foster home with other dogs but prefers her peace and quiet which I have in abundance....See More
11 months agoIt’s butterfly season here! A just-emerged Black Swallowtail I found yesterday on fennel in the garden. About 10 minutes later it was fully open. There were lots of caterpillars too
11 months agoI was mistaken. Punkin is a male. He couldn't take his eyes off me yesterday. He sat like that for a good 10 minutes.
11 months ago'Mexican' prickly poppies sprang up in the yard - poppies make me smile 🙂
