For years, this has been on my bucket list of places to visit. I always used to see the sign for it on US Highway 95. https://us.pez.com/pages/pez-visitor-center-hours-and-location?srsltid=AfmBOop24UncE0u4GMEqSCiK6RS0roG-Tq8MPfoJvnPxzYyzlSMph4ik

@colleenoz - I think cats and smaller dogs would be more dangerous. Our boys generally don't surprise us being underfoot - we know where they are. We have a tight galley kitchen, so space is our issue.

Hi nicole.

How to get free food.

Grow a garden. Learn which weeds are edible.

Eat a number of the edible ones.

You'll have to get rid of at least the ones close to your chosen plants or they'll hog most of the nutrients (and sunshine) or crowd 'em out, so you'll have to deal with 'em anyway, so you may as well eat 'em!

Maybe even freeze some, for free food next winter - at minimal extra cost to power the freezer, as you'll be freezing some of your chosen veggies anyway.

How's that for free food?

ole joyfujoyfuejoyfuelljoyfujoyfuejoyfuelled - who at 96 is thankful to (partially) manage my garden, to enjoy that free food. And must confess to being too lazy to weed HHpHpuHpuzHpuzz'HHpHpuHpuzHpuzz's editor's version of my name.

You made my day, OJ! I haven’t seen you around in such a long time—glad you haven't gone away yet. 😊 Are you still on your own or have you got some help? I hope its the latter. Stay well!

@carolb_w_fl_coastal_9/10 - I’m guessing this is something American oriented that I don’t get at all. Could you please explain?

Every July 4th there is a Nathan's hot dog eating contest in New York on Coney Island. It's disgusting to watch. Joey Chestnut has won 17 years in a row. He ate 70 hot dogs (with bun) in 10 minutes this year.

Looks like in this part of the world, almost every dog's a hot dog, this summer.
