I miss the pictograph word puzzles - I was much better at solving those 😁

Me too Carolb. Still it is always interesting to see what the answer is. Occasionally I don't even get why the answer is the answer. It is even more amazing when I get it. I am not amazed today.

I too liked the pictographs better. I've been looking for some again.

My fear is that they'll be too easy for you, as you've done a lot of them, and I can only find the ones that I've previously used.

Please let me know if you'd like me to post some of those again even though they'll be repeats.

Dont go to any bother on my account. I am content to just try. Post what makes you happy.

I liked the picture games but not really interested in repeats as I’m a regular player. I’m good with these wuzzles even if some of them leave me shaking my head. So there’s my vote! 🙂

Nope! Golfed yesterday as a twosome , and today a foursome. Still didn’t get it.

Totally, missed tsugs’ clue.

Haha....on seeing this one, my mind went immediately to that old Ernie Els (pro golfer) tv commercial where he's writing a math equation on the blackboard, and the answer, given by a cute little girl (who may have been his daughter) was '2 over par' instead of 2. Tried to find it just now through google, but couldn't.

Aaaaanyway, I did actually for a second think twosome because of that, but never would have thought that would actually be the answer, so the one I thought was a maybe was "it all adds up."

The comments of both @HU-279332973 & @carolb_w_fl_coastal_9/10 got me thinking again about my inability to solve so many of these Wuzzles. They also made me feel better - or at least less dim - about my low solve rate. I’m wondering if a person’s thinking style affects abiity to solve these types of puzzles.

Well I still have no clue. Could someone give the answer in non cryptic form? Is it actually 'twosome'? If so I still don't understand how that word is represented by the puzzle.

Floral, It is twosome. The sum of the equation is 2. 2sum; twosome.

It is the golf connection that is obscure because it is not part of the answer.

I am good at puzzles and cryptic crosswords and so forth. I can do the picto's but these usually leave me shaking my head. I do not think like the person who makes them but I hope I will eventually get it. Occasionally some how I do. Yeah for me.

Well, I I'm afraid I think that's a pretty weak one. A real stretch to get 'two sum' from a 'sum which equals two'. I have a problem with these because a lot of them are so tenuous and involve linguistic contortions to get to the answer. I find cryptic crosswords easier. Once you have the answer it's clear. There's no ambiguity.

I don't know a thing about golf so that didn't make any difference.
