Fun fact, the announcers on the morning show were asking of odd things that are happening these days.

One girl called in and people scheduled for interviews don't show up. Out of 10, 3 might show up. Which of course leaves those app't slots empty! And the new hires don't even show up for their first day of work. No calls, just no-shows. And people regularly grumble there aren't any jobs.

One fellow said that the interviewee wanted to be paid $100 just for the interview.

Sad. Sad.

Jasdip, I can believe it. A friend told me about a situation where a recent college grad with a marketing degree was offered 2 really great jobs with local companies. He declined both because he was told he might have to work until 5-6 pm some days to complete tasks to be ready to present the next morning.

I've got a story: back in my computer days, boss hired a Belly-Dancer to be MY co-worker. He said, "She got along with people, that was the most important thing!". He said "She was just there, not to work or help out...if I passed out she could call 911!" The guys reported, "That when the boss wasn't around, she brought in bras she beaded for her act." I said, "Beaded?" Yeah....a needle and thread with little seed-beads she sewed onto a white bra. 😂
