... and the stars aligned this past weekend so that everything got refilled. I am a big long-term fan of Costco, and I have plenty of storage space for non-perishables. This in less than 3 days:

So this part weekend, I refilled/replaced:

3 hand soap dispensers

Toilet paper (6 pack from storage into vanity cabinet) x 3 bathrooms

Baking soda in container (for face-wash)

jar of olives, for the weekend martinis

paper towel roll

printer paper in the printer (somehow the ink is ok)

kosher salt in the range-side cellar

peppercorns in the range-side grinder

EVOO in the range-side bottle

Reg wine vinegar in range-side bottle

2 lightbulbs

Oxyclean from the heavy box into the 4 cup rubbermade tub) (Costco now has their own label oxyclean with a ZIPLOK bag! genius)

Puff tissues in three rooms and the car

paper napkins

paper towels

coffee beans from the bag to the nice container

dish soap into a small sink-side bottle

toothpaste

bath soap x 2

2 BIC pens

1 BIC pencil

box of ziplok baggies

box of aluminum foil

1 bottle Tylenol

I'm sure I am forgetting something

Barkeepers Friend or Bon Ami into an empty Kraft Grated Parmesan canister. soooo much easier dispense and cap.

Great work everyone! A site you might be interested in: http://hometown.aol.com/jmalt31/ Gives step by step directions and pictures on building your own Ebox. Very good info. Greg (KINGGS): Tried to draw source and 2 receiving Eboxes, but my vertical lines turned into colons, and spaces were truncated. I will try to describe my impressions of your setup, and then you can tear them apart, and make corrections. lol. Source has normal syphon tube (or PVC) coming out and down to the 1st EB overflow hole. PVC is T'ed at that point with the upward portion connected to tubing going thru the overflow hole. The other portion of the T continues on to the 2nd EB and repeats the process (about to describe.) The water flows up thru the hole to another T. One portion of the T has hose going to a low portion of the EB, and the other side gets closed off. "This maintains the Syphon and helps with the balance." I think this is accurate description. Have two questions...(only two????) lol. 1) Should there be a hole somewhere maybe at the end? to allow the trapped air to escape? 2) What limits the amount of water and prevents the water from filling up the soil region? I really enjoyed Bailey White's short story. It was especially interesting to me, as Thomasville is not far, just across the FL/GA line. They do still have the rose parade and festival, and there is a municipal park planted with a lot of hybrid teas and a small heritage rose garden. There was so much that was factual, I am wondering if they really did the parade in the old days the way she wrote about it, too. Will have to do further research. Always so interesting reading about roses. I read it last night but didn't have time to post yesterday, so, I can tell you, this is one of those stories that will come back to you at odd moments when you think you've forgotten all about it, and make you smile. I guess I could start off all reserved and with high pretense, but ... naahhhh ... Portlands are my one of two favourite types and the repeaters as opposed to true damasks, do very well here though not cold hardy. I have an entire section dedicated to them in the cold back gardens and it is my favourite sitting areas. The problem is there are just too few of them readily available. But here is my list of the ones I grow for you to investigate. Here they stay short maybe 2 feet to 3 at the most ... you might want to consider mixing in an odd alba or bourbon with them ... I tend to have many repeat examples of them as it is a large area for a single type example with limited availability. Leaf grunge can become a problem after the bloom but mine continue to put out new leaves during the season. By the way you must start as a duchess ... My daughter got married 3 yrs ago. She had the Wedding Binder. Had notes, receipts, plans, fabric samples, pictures of anything to do with wedding. We shopped in 7 different cities looking for the perfect shade of blue with the look/feel/drape of what she wanted. We finally found it... She was so organized she laid out everything she had purchased, sorted it out, took a digital photos, numbered the tote box, wrote where in the maze of totes it was located, (color coordinated, of course ;) and had those picture pages in her binder. There was every phone number, name of sales clerk,subject, etc. that she had conversations with along the way... Of course the wedding and reception was perfect, and the worst that happened, was my umbrella getting sent home with her MIL. I should only wish that the genes would reverse to me!!! Now that she has her first child, (Audry Olivia- 8 wks old) she has the Building the House Binder. She spent a year designing it, and now has nearly all of the things ready to go into it as soon as the Men People get it ready! Of course when I ran into her in the store a couple weeks ago, the House Binder was right beside her diaper bag. I have a feeling that when she returns to work this week, the Binder will come along also. I hope that Baby is so blessed with the organization that her Mommy has!

Speaking of Costco, I thought these gloves were a great buy. They come in one size so they fit my hands or my husband’s meathooks. If you buy them in the warehouse, they are even cheaper, less than a dollar a pair. The palms are grippy and waterproof.

They last a long time.

I hate Costco (horrible parking lot, horrible experience inside the store), and I do not want to buy mass quantities of anything, except maybe fabrics.

I only use cloth napkins - never paper, except when eating out.

I do not have room to store all the food I have now, and so a lot of it is in boxes. I try to be a minimalist, so that I can keep track of things better.

One year later I am still trying to consolidate two houses into one, but we have another year to complete this.

That was a lot of refilling!

We have Ka-Boom toilet bowl cleaners installed in ALL 6 bathrooms. They work by using a tablet. I'm always walking around filling tablets. Did you have any help refilling?

Our Costco membership was great when the kids were at home and I was a band mom/theater mom/etc. But as all that faded away, we just weren’t going as much and couldn’t quite justify the membership. Except…I liked their towels, and seasonal clothing, and men’s shirts. Not bulk buying, just those little surprises they had.
