Comments (15)Hi nicole. How to get free food. Grow a garden. Learn which weeds are edible. Eat a number of the edible ones. You'll have to get rid of at least the ones close to your chosen plants or they'll hog most of the nutrients (and sunshine) or crowd 'em out, so you'll have to deal with 'em anyway, so you may as well eat 'em! Maybe even freeze some, for free food next winter - at minimal extra cost to power the freezer, as you'll be freezing some of your chosen veggies anyway.
