Lawn mower question for women only
Comments (3)I'm not a female but I found a mower that was easy to start. My wife has the same problem starting mowers sometimes. The mower engine that is the easiest starting I have ever come across is the Briggs and Stratton 6.5hp Intek Pro. As a test I let my 8 year old son and my wife try to start it and they both were able to do so. I can grab the starter rope and start it with just a flick of my wrist and lower arm. Not the massive yank that many other engines need sometimes. Shop for mowers with the Briggs and Stratton Intek Pro. Another alternative is to get an electric start model. Perhaps the Honda equipped Lawn-Boy in the link below. Here is a link that might be useful: Electric start Lawn-Boy....See MoreFamily Only Shower Question
Comments (17)Yeah, you're going to run into problems trying to figure out who exactly you are trying to please. Is it the bride, the groom, his mom, you, your husband, the bride's mom? Come on... you're the host. If people at work throw you a shower, they decide who gets invited (generally work people), if college friends throw one they decide and on and on. You decided to throw a family shower for relatives... aside from adding godmother or something, I really wouldn't let someone talk you into making it something you never agreed or intended it to be. If someone wants a friends of the family shower, then I would bet a friend of the family could throw one.. no? I don't necessarily agree with your reasoning for not wanting friends there, but if you intended on hosting a family shower and now they're cutting family members to include those friends, I'd probably just go with your original list. You're not going to please everyone. Again, I'm sure mom knows someone that could throw a friend of the family shower if one is needed. This isn't a b-day party. It's a shower - if you have a special group of people you want to host a shower for, you should be able to do that. What next, is mom going to ask you to knock off Aunt Susan and her kids so that that her bunko group buddies can come instead?...See MoreWhy are women so hard on other women?
Comments (8)you know actually ... I thought about this like last week more in reference to my daughters and me vs my daughters and my hubby. I am much harder on the girls than he is I expect them to do just as much as the boys and I dont let the teary eyed daddy please nonsense deter me, whereas he gives in at least a little. And I really think it has to do with.. I am a female I know what I have worked for and what as a woman I am able to accomplish. The; there are bugs, its too hot, too heavy, blah blah blah thing doesnt effect me when it comes from the girls because I know if I can handle it so can they... but guys... most guys still feel then need to protect their women and some to my very aggravated dismay still feel like woman are somewhat inferior on a lot of things and thus they are too soft on their daugthers. I think that the same theory goes for woman to woman... we know what we ourselves can handle and accomplish and have very little patience for others not falling under those same values decisions and circumstances... where as because we women have this soft spot for our poor husbands and sons that have to deal with sooo much (;-) ) we tend to forgive them their misnomers as opposed to the woman who did the same thing....See MoreGot a question...womens personal laundry needs.
Comments (60)Pat, mine are all different brands, from Maidenform to Calvin Klein, but they should be similar to these: http://www.hanes.com/onehanesplace/womens-panties/panties-brands/hanes-panties/hanes-womens-microfiber-bikini-panties-122962 I do think they could handle warmer wash temps, but I had a couple of bright pink ones dye the load pink when I used warmer water, so I now stick with lukewarm. I really hope you find something you like - I remember that cold damp sensation after hiking or exercising in all cotton undies and it was not pleasant! These dry so much faster. Here's more, apologies if the link comes out funny since I'm on my cell and in Croatia right now (in case it displays the prices in Kuna): http://m.herroom.com/microfiber,panties,141,002,10.html http://www.barenecessities.com/search.aspx?search=microfiber&drv=4294962084%2c4294961469&drvOld=0&ft=1...See More- last year
