For women only, please....medical question

I had bladder surgery today and, unbeknownst to me, the surgeon put in an in-dwelling catheter that has to stay in place until Friday a.m. I only have the leg bag and it's fairly high on my leg. So that means I have to figure out how to sleep with it with the bag lower than my bladder. Also, I am finding sitting to be very uncomfortable. Fortunately I have my Mom's old "donut" which helps take the pressure off the catheter. I feel like I desperately have to go all the time. Not fun.

I could really use some advice or insight into how I'm going to survive until Friday. I will have to get up every 4 hr to empty the bag as it is. So sleeping will be fleeting at best. Has anyone been through this with suggestions for sleeping and sitting positions for comfort that also allow for proper flow into the bag?

Thanks so much!!
