Win-Win. Hubby started washing, drying, and folding his own clothes. I just have to keep the washer/dryer empty. He did not like the way I did them, lol.

Not me. Doing laundry is tomorrow's task.

Good bunch to bring forth laughter, today.

Annie - MAYbe you'll be able to get over the loss without too much dislocation?

Do you often mirror your inspirations, Oly?

How about frequent messages to your members of the various governments to let them know that you're watching them, and expecting them to be responsible citizens, salon?

Michelle - aren't ya glad that yer cats aren't bookworms?

No offence, jeb ... but how about suggesting that yer character build a higher fence?

...... Ain't that the truth, eld?

    katlan ...

.. my house/barn/shed seem to be rather full of 'em! More winnowing required before I dare consider moving to an apt. In the city!

@ded ... often true - in winter: but usually in summer they all don't hang long on the line.

    Thank you for your contributions.

Hope each of you find something about which to be joyful every day - and offer such to the folks you meet: offer a smile to strangers.

    ole joyful

    @sherry8sNorthAL.

Early in our marriage, my DH informed me how he wanted his blue jeans folded. I told him, when he did the laundry, he could fold them any way he wanted. I never heard another word, 38 years later.😅

When we were first married, DH said to me, "My shirts need ironing." I said, "Great. Let me show you how to do it!" He's been doing them ever since.

aok -- but does he do his laundry all the time now/still?! Hope so!

Annie - my DH (of 57 years) expected me to iron his clothes from the start, and since he was a lowly Second Lieutenant in the AF at the time, we had no money for sending out his uniforms, so I did. But I drew the line when he informed me that my MIL used to iron his underwear. I mean, really?!? Dream on, buster! Years went by, until the worm (me) turned, and he has been washing and drying his own stuff for decades. And he does not iron anything (nor do I).

I just wish he would scrub the cooking pots now and then... =)
